ANZAHPE's 2024 Annual Conference was held in the Festival State of South Australia from the 1st to the 4th of July 2024.

Following on from the success of our conference at the Gold Coast in 2023, we held an even more impressive conference in  beautiful Adelaide, South Australia.

Conference Theme – Cultivating Innovation 

The conference began on Monday 1st July with pre-conference workshops and an evening welcome and networking event.  Tuesday 2nd to Thursday 4th July, the conference was in full swing with thought-provoking keynote speaker presentations, inspiring oral presentations, absorbing poster presentations, and cutting-edge conversations in the Jewel in the Crown of ANZAHPE: PeArLS (Personally Arranged Learning Session).

ANZAHPE conferences have always been a beacon of scholarly stimulation and social engagement for health professional educators in Australia, New Zealand, and increasingly the Asia-Pacific region. As our Association has grown, so too has our membership and conference delegate numbers. In 2024, we welcomed more than 740 attendees from across the globe. The conference featured keynote speakers who are leaders in their field, and inspired us to consider ways we can contribute to cultivating innovation as they have done. Welcome and thank you to those who joined our nurturing community to learn about and share their latest research, scholarship, and practice in health professions education.

Our Local Champions Team lead by ANZAHPE members in Adelaide worked hard to ensure your Adelaide experience was a memorable one, with opportunities to catch up with friends and grow your network of colleagues, while enjoying the beautiful city of Adelaide – renowned for its vibrant culture, picturesque countryside, and world-class wine in the surrounding regions.

And of course, the incredible ANZAHPE Dinner offered the opportunity to let their hair down, whilst socialising and networking with colleagues as well as new connections.
