| ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR/PROFESSOR (HEAD OF CLINICAL YEARS), SCHOOL OF MEDICINE, UNIVERSITY OF NOTRE DAME Sydney Campus Part-time opportunity (0.6), Continuing contract Level D/E + 14.50% super (pro-rata) This leadership position within the National School of Medicine reports to the Deputy Head of School, Sydney. The role is responsible for overseeing the delivery of the Clinical Years component of the Sydney Doctor of Medicine program. It ensures the consistent and high quality delivery of the program, including providing strategic and operational oversight of the Clinical Schools affiliated with the Sydney campus. The position also plays a key role in fostering effective collaboration across all Clinical Schools. Key Responsibilities Coordinate the consistent delivery of the program curriculum for Year 3 and 4, in conjunction with the Heads of Clinical Schools. Facilitate clinical schools participation in evaluation and ongoing improvement of the program curriculum. Provide leadership and manage the day-to-day operational matters of the Clinical Schools, including academic and administrative staff matters, adjunct appointments, negotiating contracts and agreements, input into operational budgets, stakeholder consultation and liaison and negotiating and coordinating clinical placements. Manage the student allocation to Clinical Schools for Years 3 and 4 with the Clinical Placements Coordinator and elective learning period placements. Coordinate Clinical School participation in quality processes and liaise with relevant health department, Governments, and private jurisdictions. Provide support in student matters, pastoral care and monitoring academic progress and facilitating student access to university services. Chair the Heads of Clinical School Committee, and other committees and working groups. Ensure significant external engagement with the community and discipline.
