The ANZAHPE Fellowship Scheme offers the opportunity to be a part of a vibrant community of health professional educators interested in improving scholarship, teaching and learning in this space.

Goals of the ANZAHPE Fellowship Scheme:

• To engender a culture of mentorship and encouragement through which more senior members of ANZAHPE can support the development of those with less experience
• To chart a clear pathway through which emerging health professional educators can develop expertise, gain experience and undertake scholarly educational practice
• To provide a means through which ANZAHPE members who have attained particular expertise in health professional education through scholarly practice can be recognised within their own institutions and the broader world.

Who should apply for Fellowship or Associate Fellowship?

The Fellowship Scheme recognises members of ANZAHPE who have demonstrated a consistent commitment to health professional education through their scholarly contributions to the field. The scheme is open to health professional educators who have been recognised as effective teachers, researchers, developers and leaders in education in their own institutions and who have demonstrated a commitment to facilitating the learning of students and junior colleagues in academic, clinical or community settings.

Current members of ANZAHPE, who are appropriately qualified, are warmly invited to apply for recognition as Fellows or Associate Fellows of the Association and the right to use the post-nominals FANZAHPE or AFANZAHPE, as appropriate.
