Welcome to one of our newest members, Danielle Muscat.

Danielle Muscat, BPsych Hons, PhD, FHEA is an Associate Professor at the Sydney Health Literacy Lab, University of Sydney and Director of Research for the NSW Health Statewide Health Literacy Hub. Danielle is passionate about integrating health literacy into health professional education and practice. Over the past decade, she has worked across research, policy, and service delivery to build the capacity of health professionals to communicate more effectively with patients, families, and communities. Much of her work has focused on embedding health literacy principles into curricula, training programs, and clinical pathways, ensuring that communication is recognised as a core skill for safe, equitable, and person-centred care.
