Focus on Health Professional Education will incorporate a special theme on Interprofessional Learning alongside our regular articles and invited Focus on Methodology articles, to be published in each issue from mid-2022 to early 2023.
The guest editor for this special theme is Associate Professor Jodie Copley.
What you need to know
Manuscripts considered for this theme will be original research papers focusing on interprofessional learning or interprofessional education in the health professions, at either a student or practitioner level.
We are particularly interested in papers that advance our understanding of:
- the practice of interprofessional education and its impact on interprofessional collaborative practice and associated client and organisational outcomes
- the experience of interprofessional teaching and learning, and how this can inform interprofessional collaborative practice
- theoretical underpinnings of interprofessional learning and how these impact on interprofessional education practice.
Our author guidelines for research papers apply to these submissions. For example, papers that are 3500-5000 words in length will be considered.
Submissions for this theme will undergo the usual review process, with no guarantee of publication. Manuscript reviews will result in either acceptance or rejection of the paper, or an invitation to make revisions or resubmit with changes.
Submissions for the Interprofessional Learning theme will be accepted from September 30, 2021 to September 30, 2022.
Please direct any questions about the special theme by email to: executive@anzahpe.org
